The concept of a New Evolution Open Sports car (NEOS) made its debut at the 2000 Paris Motor Show. Hyundai’s Research and Development Center in Japan took 28 months to design this classic two-seater. With a focus on weight saving, the body was made of aluminum and thermo plastic resin and left some parts exposed. The unconventional design featured gull-wing doors operated by card key. The design emphasis was on pure, unadulterated driving pleasure.
