Hyundai Motor Europe Continuous Success Sales Up 7 % in April

 

  • April sales up by 7 percent against last year
  • Cumulative sales up 5 percent compared to same period last year

Rüsselsheim, May 2nd, 2005 -- Hyundai Motor Europe GmbH successfully could expand its customer share in Europe by adding 32.152 new customers in April.

Ike Oh, President of Hyundai Motor Europe GmbH said: "People are complaining that traditional qualities are jettisoned in our day. We at Hyundai stick to our belief that quality, reliability and refinement in product as well as in services are undeniable attributes of a successful car manufacturer. We may be called traditionalists, but we will continue to offer all these values with an exceptional value ratio."

Oh added: "We see our strategy being confirmed by a growing Hyundai customer base. In that regard, we are proud to announce that the French Automobile Press Association (AFPA) recently awarded the Prize of Outstanding Sales Achievement to Hyundai France for the second time in a row."

Emphasize was given to Hyundai’s extraordinary sales achievements since 1999, with sales showing a double digit growth on average annually*. The trophy was awarded by media members of the French Automobile Press Association at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry on April 6th, 2005.
