Hyundai unveiled one of the most promising design concepts in recent years at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. Engineers of the European R&D Center had refitted the European best-selling model Getz with a fully-operational 1.1 liter ultra-low-emission Common Rail Diesel engine that reduces emission to a minimum. In addition, the incorporation of a newly developed starter-alternator also minimizes fuel consumption. The ECO Getz represents a big step forward in Hyundai’s ULEV development program.
