PR & Communications Manager
Job Summary
The incumbent will be engaged in the strategic planning, development and implementation of an ongoing public relations campaign for Hyundai brand and products in Europe. He/she will report to the Vice President of Hyundai Motor Europe GmbH (HME).

Key Responsibilities include:
- Define conceptual approach to PR and media relations and develop an action plan / program within an agreed budget framework
- Create regular press releases for distribution to key European media
- Manage the output, workload and effectiveness of the Company’s appointed PR agency
- Set communications objectives for HME markets
- Organize issue- and theme-oriented media presence for the management to launch corporate positioning themes; develop related Q & As
- Increase representation of our company in relevant industry and business associations & events (internationally)
- Set targets for – and measure achievement of – media coverage across HME markets
- Maintain effective relationships with key business & automobile journalists
- Produce regionalized image banks, corporate press kits, speeches
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure all external communications consistently present agreed positioning and messages for the brand and products
- Identify and manage any product or corporate regional PR issues or crises
- Provide support for in-market product launches
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and co-operation among the in-country PR teams
Job Requirements
- University degree in business administration, marketing or economical discipline
- At least 5 years of automotive related experience in PR
- Thorough knowledge of and experience in the broad spectrum of automotive business, PR and its execution
- Understanding of automotive operations and automobile industry trends
- Excellent experience and knowledge of PR, PR events, promotion and other marketing activities
- Excellent communication skills in English, ability to speak other European language(s) preferred
- Demonstrated capabilities in writing and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
